no 19: ragam doktor gigi hari ini

KUALA LUMPUR 7 Feb. - Kementerian Kesihatan telah mengarahkan Ketua Pengarahnya, Tan Sri Dr. Mohd. Ismail Merican melakukan pemeriksaan ke atas semua klinik gigi swasta bagi memastikan doktor yang bertugas di situ berdaftar dengan Majlis Pergigian Malaysia (MDC). 

Menterinya, Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai menegaskan, mana-mana doktor yang tidak berdaftar dengan MDC hendaklah didakwa kerana memberi perkhidmatan tanpa tauliah walaupun mempunyai kelulusan sebagai doktor pergigian di bawah Akta Doktor Pergigian 1971. 

''Doktor-doktor gigi 'palsu' ini boleh dikenakan denda RM10,000 hingga RM50,000 ataupun penjara tidak melebihi lima tahun jika didapati bersalah. 

''Kementerian melihat perkara ini dengan serius yang mana doktor gigi perlu berdaftar dengan Majlis Pergigian Malaysia dan mana-mana yang tidak berdaftar tidak boleh memberi perkhidmatan kepada orang ramai," katanya. 

Beliau berkata demikian ketika diminta mengulas laporan Mingguan Malaysia hari ini bahawa sebanyak 30 peratus doktor gigi yang menawarkan khidmat mereka di Lembah Klang secara haram tanpa tauliah dan berdaftar dengan MDC. 

Laporan itu menyebut 95 doktor yang disiasat 28 daripadanya tiada dalam senarai terkini Majlis Pergigian Malaysia, 29 daripada 122 nama klinik gigi yang disiasat tidak berdaftar dengan Kementerian Kesihatan dan kebanyakan doktor gigi 'palsu' ini adalah warga asing yang diupah oleh pemilik 'klinik gigi haram'..

so, soon after you graduated from Jordan University of Science and Technology as a successful dentist, do you know that you will have to be registered under an association in Malaysia to become a 'truly dentist'?


Just like medical students, they will have to register to Malaysian Medical Association before being a medical officer, so do us but in another special association called Malaysian Dental Association [ MDA ].

Do you want to know some good news regarding our future fate of being dentists in Malaysia?
Now, just go through this post and read it till the last word as I will tell you the benefits :


1. There are a lot of percentages of total citizens in Malaysia that still dont really aware of their teeth health. So, we'll have a big number of patients as soon as we become a dentist, with a condition, Malaysians must get  exposed to dental care. News about our beloved nation can be reached here .


2. Consecutively, as not many Malaysians have the knowledges of how to take good care of their teeth, with the portion of only 6% out of 2.8million people in Malaysia. again....we are the very very very very important persons here, that should come and serve the community. Giving them informations and knowledges. dont you feel sinful if you dont do your responsibilities to the nation ?


3.  Money is ain't the problem for if we have many patients.  heh. Eye-ing on Malaysia's economical condition that could become even worse, I'm wholeheartedly sure that this job will provide us money-worries-life and thus, we can help much much more needy peoples out there i.e our brothers and sisters in Palestine.


4. We shouldnt be stressed any longer to find job vacancies nor to waste time to be unemployed right after graduate, because this is what had been promised by our Ministry of Health based on his plans to open the market of dental fields ;

Health Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said that Malaysia plans to learn from China's experience in increasing its number of dentists and will also explore its wide range of dental related fields....

5. If you could observe well and make some studies, you will find that there is not much Muslim Malay people who are in specialists dental field. so, here are the vacancies for us to be filled. so, let's prepare ourselves to be a good muslim above all, then with that sense we'll raise up our nation particularly the Malays that always people looked down onto.


6. Personally, I do really feel that there is no other reason than what Allah had given us, is always the best to ourselves.. the matter is we just have to give some spaces to dentistry to get to know us, or vice versa. Dentistry is not a low profession, right? so, are you still ashamed of being a dentist? I'm not. instead, i'm proud to be one of dental students.

now i would like to bring you all to dream of being a dentist. as an introduction, let's take a look on some terms that may sound awkward as some of us are not exposed to them, [yeah..it goes the same on me. dont worry]. After reading this, fill in the blank in this question;

General dentists

• The general dentist is the person we usually refer to as "the dentist".
  
  • Patients should visit the dentist every six months for a dental check-up, which may include routine dental x-rays and a scale and polish treatment.
  • Some dentists employ dental hygienists for the cleaning, scaling and polishing of teeth. Others perform this procedure themselves.
  • Dentists are qualified to diagnose dental problems and treat patients of all ages.

Specialist dentists

• In addition to their basic dental training, specialist dentists have to complete at least another two years of training.

• Endodontists

  These specialists deal with difficult extractions, such as the removal of impacted wisdom teeth.

• Orthodontists
  Orthodontists straighten teeth and correct the alignment of teeth and jaws.

• Periodontists
  Periodontists are dentists who specialise in diagnosing and treating conditions of the gums, bone and other tissues surrounding and supporting the teeth.

• Prosthodontists
  Prosthodontists are dentists who specialise in the repair or replacement of worn, broken or missing teeth.

Start with the end in mind.

Obviously, this statement had been proven by our own religion, Islam. Allah had taught us to act in today's reality based on how we want to be in our next life, on what condition do we want to be raised up in. He provided target of the highest heaven for us, so that we could strive hardest and the 'very bestest' to achieve it.

The same principle applies to our life.

tahun 2009 bakal melabuhkan tirai. teringin nak tahu agaknya macamana orang2 di sini sambut tahun baru. agaknya sama macam Malaysia tak, ye?


kerana memiliki sense as a muslim hari ini, jom usha berita yang masih hangat;
kerajaan Mesir telah memulakan projek pembinaan tembok bawah tanah di sempadan Mesir dan Palestin.


teruskan membaca pada link ini untuk kita lihat macamana umat dunia turut menentang keputusan ini.


kalau aku yang dah berada dekat dengan mereka ni baca tanpa rasa apa2, masih kah aku dikira muslim? dengar tak jeritan dari West Bank?


dan memang ternyata aku sangat perlu diingatkan dengan benda2 macam ni, dengan berterusan. agar aku tak lupa bahawa ada yang lebih susah. agar aku selalu mensyukuri kemudahan hidup yang aku punya sekarang. agar aku selalu sedar apa tujuan belajar sekarang ini. agar aku mampu menghulurkan bantuan kepada mereka, walaupun dengan cara yang tidak langsung.


ya, cara yang tidak langsung.
dengan doa2 yang selalu dititipkan khas untuk mereka setiap kali selepas solat.
dengan menambahbaik nilai tambah dalam diri untuk menjadi muslim yang terbaik.


semoga dengan cara itu, aku tak dihukum kerana mengabaikan saudara seislamku.

Dunia akan terasa indah apabila kita dapat menghargai dan dihargai. Macam tu lah manusia. Dan yang pasti, kita takkan terlepas dari itu semua. Terkadang kita terguris hati kawan rapat atau kawan sebilik, maka yang kita rasakan di dalam hati adalah betapa tak selesanya dunia untuk diduduki. Tapi, bila datang orang memberikan hadiah tanda dia menyayangi kita, bila ada yang sudi untuk belanja kita selalu [bukan bermakna materialistik] , bila ada sahaja yang mahu mengorbankan diri.. kita akan terasa nikmat hidup. Best lah.

Hakikatnya, semua benda kita akan rasa seronok kalau banyak benda kita dapat dari orang sekeliling. Kita ambil manfaat dari kebaikan orang. Tapi, pernah tak kita fikir apa kebaikan yang kita dah sumbangkan untuk manusia sekeliling kita? Pernah tak orang sekeliling kita bahagia sebab ada nya kita di sisi dia?

hiduplah untuk memberi dengan sebanyak2nya,

bukan untuk menerima dengan sebanyak2nya.

Pastikan setiap kehadiran kita di sisi seseorang tu, membuatkan dia rasa beruntung kerana memiliki kita sebagai sahabat. Duduk2 oversea ni, kena lah rasa kawan tu macam ahli keluarga. Berkongsi semua rasa, bermesra pada tempatnya. Tapi still, keluarga di Malaysia tak boleh dilupakan. Sikap terbuka antara kita sebenarnya tak pernah merugikan, bahkan ia sangat membantu untuk kita naikkan semua nilai2 kosong dalam diri.

Dulu tak reti nak memasak, sekarang dah boleh buat home-made-lasagne. Dulu teringin sampai mengidam2 kuih muih Malaysia, sekarang karipap pun dah boleh kelim sendiri dengan cantik. Dulu nak makan hidangan segera, hulur duit je ke kedai tepi jalan. sekarang coleslaw, mashed potato, ayam kentucky, kek, karamel, sushi - sebut saja, ada duit beli bahan, masak ramai2.

ni yang best kalau dapat duduk ramai2 satu bangunan. haha. macam buat negara sendiri pulak. ye la, sekarang lah masa nak mencipta kenangan manis. Sebelum semua bertebaran di muka bumi Irbid ni, sekarang lah masanya untuk saling berukhuwwah :D

Akhir sekali, semoga hasil ikatan kasih sayang ini akan menjadi asbab untuk kita ke syurga, [berPermai hingga ke syurga]  dan tidak termasuk dalam golongan yang diceritakan Allah dalam surah AzZukhruf ayat 67. rajen kan diri usha tafsir dia yep?

Orait. adios amigos. nak tulis panjang2 tapi ada Afiqah Fuzai kat sebelah ni datang malam2 mengigau risau pasal tasjil untuk 2nd sem. bittaufiq semua!
